Who Am I?

My name is Craig Bretton. My goal is to capture moments in time to share with the world. Photography can be a way to see the past exactly as it was. Once you snap that photo, that exact moment in time has been frozen in the form of an image. I want to be able to share the beauty that I see with everyone.

I first started photography as just a hobby to pass the time and to help me get outside and spend time in nature. I always thought that it is unfortunate that only me and the people close to me will see the photos I capture. Then I had the idea to share the photos on the internet so they can be enjoyed by everybody!

My main interest is in astrophotography and wildlife/nature photography. Astrophotography (abbreviated “AP”) is anything you take a picture of in the sky. No, I am not talking about clouds, I am talking even further! Out in deep space. Our universe is filled with amazing and stunning things that our eyes just aren’t sensitive enough to see. Light that has traveled hundreds of lightyears all the way up to millions upon millions of lightyears.
